I hosted a Spring Birdhouse Craft Party for my daughter and created a birdhouse craft bar where the kids could pick their own birdhouses to paint and embellish. They LOVED this!
The DIY Wood Birdhouse craft kits come ready-to-assemble which makes it fun for kids to put them together before they decorate them. Each set comes pre-packaged and with its own set of directions. To make it fun, put an individual birdhouse kit in personalized boxes for each guest to open and assemble.
This acrylic paint set is perfect for this craft as there are many colors to choose from. Simply squeeze some paint into these paint palettes so each guest can have all the paint colors to work with. Be sure to have both jumbo paintbrushes that makes covering the large wood surfaces a breeze and smaller nylon paintbrushes on hand to add details!
Here’s where it gets pretty fun. Once your painted birdhouses are dry, watch your guests creativity shine while they choose from a few embellishments like colorful pom-poms and self-adhesive shape stickers to decorate their birdhouses. Give each guest some letter stickers so they can personalize their own birdhouses with their names.
