Bring desert-inspired DIY fun to your Valentine’s Day décor with this DIY Valentine’s Day Wreath. This prickly wreath is an oh-so-sweet way to add some color other than red and pink to your Valentine’s Day décor. Hang this wreath on your mantel, door, or prop it on an entryway table.
Paint the middles of the Wood Coasters with two different colors of green acrylic paint. Allow time for the paint to dry.
Once the paint is dry, use the eraser end of a pencil to create the perfect dots. Lightly dip the eraser into brown acrylic paint and place the painted eraser onto the wood coaster. Repeat to create a random dotted pattern on each of the coasters. Allow to dry. Once dry, repeat with white paint, slightly off from the brown painted dots. This creates a shadow effect, as shown. Allow to dry.
Paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Cactus using a flat-bristled paintbrush and acrylic paint. Once the paint is dry, draw on spikes with a white chalk marker. Draw spikes on the wood coasters as well.
Arrange the wood coasters and cactus into a circle shape. Use hot glue to glue the coasters and cactus together.
Paint Unfinished Wood Mini Hearts and a Wood Heart Ornament with red acrylic paint.
Glue the mini hearts to the wreath and the large heart to the cactus.
Apply a Valentine decal onto the large heart and glue on Black & White Buffalo Check Ribbon for hanging to finish off your wreath. Saw the legs off of the Chalkboard Easel and hang the wreath onto the chalkboard for a fun look.
