Begin by downloading the Carrot Treat Pouch and Bunny Ears template here and then print it onto white cardstock. Cut out the carrot template and trace it onto orange felt, leaving off the top leaf part. You will need to trace and cut two carrot shapes per treat pouch.

After cutting out the carrot pieces, lay two of them flat on top of each other with the sides you wish to show facing inward. Run a long bead of hot glue all along the left, bottom and right sides of the carrot, taking care to leave the flat bottom portion open. Repeat this step for each pouch you are creating.

Once the hot glue has fully set and is cool, gently turn each of the carrot pouches right side out. I found that using the flat end of a bamboo skewer helped to push the very tip of the carrots out.

Using the carrot pouch template as a guide, trace around the leaf portions with a chalk marker onto green felt. I added a lime green piece of felt I had on hand for added dimension, but you could easily just use the same color for both leaves. You will end up with a larger and a smaller leaf for each carrot.

Next, hot glue the larger of the green felt leaves to the inside of the carrot pouch, and then layer the smaller leaf on top, securing in place with hot glue.

Give your carrots a little personality by embellishing them with bits of pastel ric rac trim. I cut pieces of light blue, pink and purple ric rac trim and hot glued them onto the pouches, leaving about an inch in between each one, but feel free to add your own creative touch to yours!

Now it's time to create the bunny ears for the lollipops. Trace the larger size of the bunny ear onto white felt and the smaller size onto pink felt. You will need two of each color per lollipop. After cutting them out, use hot glue to affix the pink piece to the center of the white piece.

Adhere the bunny ears to hot pink lollipops using hot glue. I turned my lollipop over and glued them on backwards with a slight outward slant to each of them.

Finally, tuck the bunny ear lollipops into the carrot treat pouches and gift them to your little some-bunnies. We placed our carrot treats next to each place setting at our Easter Bunny Brunch, but they would be equally as cute added to an Easter basket or gifted all on their own!
