Have you seen anything cuter than these darling ceramic boot planters? I was crazy for them the minute I saw them. Living here in Seattle, rain boots are a must, so designing a couple of these to mimic my real life boots was so fun…the possibilities are endless!!

Step

Choose a color to paint your boots. Since these come in a box of 12, I decided to create 6 pairs! You may have to use multiple coats of paint depending on the color of paint.

If you would like to decoupage onto your boot to match your party theme find a design in one of your napkins that will fit onto your boot. Cut out the design as close as you can from the napkin background.

Step

Once your paint is dry, using your Mod Podge, lay down a thin coat on the boot. Next, place your design on the boot and then carefully coat over your design with the Mod Podge.

Once your Mod Podge has dried (you will know because it dries clear) spray a think coat of clear varnish over your whole boot to protect it, and give it a nice gloss.

Stand back and admire how absolutely ADORABLE these boots are!

I chose to use the boot pairs on my Spring in Bloom Brunch table. They were a fun take home favor for my guests, but I used them to hold a napkin and a chocolate tulip!
