Paint the surface of a DIY Ceramic Ornament in your favorite shade of blush, coral, or pink. It's a great idea to use a disposable plate as a paint palette for quick and easy clean up! Once the base coat has dried, use a narrow paint brush to create a thin line as shown.

Using the same thin paint brush, paint on thin lines using green paint, extending out from the center line painted in the previous step. The lines will begin to take on the appearance of a feathery pine garland.

Add a few wispy lines of white paint, using a thin paint brush. This adds a more realistic aspect to the ornament, don't you agree?

Personalize your ornament with the name of the recipient, a favorite phrase, or some flowers. Here, we've used red paint to create not only the name, but some pretty simple flowers. They're made by painting red circles, then going over the center with a pale pink paint. White snow berries are dotted in and add to the Christmassy look. Add a little Glitterific Paint in rose gold for a sparkling effect.

Add pine cones by dipping your brush in a rich shade of brown craft paint, then pressing it down to create the oval shape shown here. Clusters of one or three mimic the way real pine cones grow in nature.

Add in detail lines on the pine cones, as you did the evergreen garland, by adding small curved lines of white. The finished pinecones have a life like look, and they're right at home nestled in the garland.

Add a length of blush wired metallic sparkling ribbon to the ornament, and it's ready to give as a gift, or hang right on the tree. Party guests will love searching the Christmas tree for their personalized ornament. They're also fantastic to be used for seating guests at a Pink and Copper Christmas Cocktail Party.
