Colorful little houses decked out with palm Christmas trees, sandy snowmen, and surfboards are the perfect decor pieces if you're throwing a Tropical Inspired Christmas this year! Display them on your mantel next to a few beach balls and tropical foliage to create a fun and festive scene. Not only will they bring whimsy to your decor, but you'll have fun making them too!
First, paint a DIY Small House tropical blue.
Next, use Mod Podge® Matte Acrylic Sealer to apply a Luau Santa Luncheon Napkin to the roof of the house.
Repeat step 2 for the small roof above the door. Trim off any excess napkin.
Paint the inside of the doorway with yellow paint then glue a Mini Natural Sugar Starfish above the doorway.
Use Mod Podge® Matte Acrylic Sealer to apply Grey Sand to the base of the house.
Next, remove a palm tree or snowman sticker from a Luau Christmas Sticker Scene and stick it to a piece of white card stock. Cut out the palm tree and glue a Bamboo Skewer to the back of it. The card stock and skewer will give the sticker stability.
Glue the tree or snowman to the left side of the house.
Use Scissors to remove the stick from a Frosted Surfboard Lollipop and glue the surfboard next to the tree or snowman.
Finally, remove the string lights from the Luau Christmas Sticker Scene and stick them onto the roof of the surf shack. Display the shack up on a mantel or shelf to kick off your Tropical Inspired Christmas!
