One of our favorite parts of holiday decorating is setting up our Christmas village. We're sharing how to create this one-of-a-kind Scandinavian inspired Christmas Village with free printables. Paint these amazing cardboard houses and cottage in whatever color palette you choose. Then all you have to do is download and print the holiday characters, cut them out and glue on the cutest little wooden discs! Skaters, skiers, snowman and more adorn your sweet holiday village. Next, paint the roof and base of house white. Apply two coats, let dry.
Download the Free DIY Christmas Village Printables here and print on white card stock. Cut out each character, leaving a 1/4 inch border along the outside. Leave it straight along the bottom of the character.
Secure each character on wood disc by pressing bottom in the hot glue. Hold in place until secure. Lay out houses on mantle or tabletop. Cover area with craft snow and place sisal and wood trees along with characters around your village.
