I'm always looking for creative ways to get our family photos off my phone and displayed in our home. These DIY clothespin photo garlands are a fun alternative to a traditional picture frame and allow you to easily switch up the photos whenever you like. For the garland, all you need are clothespins and wood letters to spell out a few fun sayings. Hang from baker's twine, add your favorite Instagram photos, and enjoy!
Decide what words or sayings you would like to spell with the wood letters. I used two packs of letters to form these words.
Paint the tops of the clothespins with white craft paint and a foam brush. This will help the letters "pop" from the clothespins. You will want to paint a clothespin for each letter you plan to use, as well as a few extra to go between words.
Paint the wood letters with bright colored craft paint. I used a combination of four different colors.
Hot glue the painted letters to the front of the clothespins.
Clip the letters onto a length of baker's twine.
Hang your garlands and use them to show off your favorite photos!
