These simple color brick centerpieces were fun to make and helped complete the look for my son's color brick birthday party. The centerpieces look great scattered around in the middle of tables or placed next to the cake and snack table to add custom flair. Centerpieces can also act as balloon weights to keep napkins, plates or other party essentials in place. Incorporate all six different balloon and brick colors to make any party space pop!
Prepare your Legos. I got my kids to help me sort them into different colors. This was by far the most time consuming part of the project. I found that we had the most blue, red, and yellow Legos. I also used some larger building bricks in the center to help fill up space.
Place the larger bricks (or another filler like tissue paper or a paper towel roll) in the center of the bucket container. Fill in the edges of the container with smaller Legos. Put the metal lid back onto the container.
Use ribbon to attach matching colored balloons to each bucket container. I used white ribbon for all the balloons and containers, but it would also look great to match the colored ribbon to the Lego colors in each container. Attach just one balloon per bucket or have the centerpieces take up more space with multiple balloons on one bucket container.
