An invitation sets the tone for a party. These Color Me Notecards are the perfect way to hint at what will be going on at your party. I love the idea of surprising your guests with the watercolors as part of the invitation. It’s just such a great way to kick off a party! In order to get the details for the party, the guests will first have to unwrap their watercolors.
Cut off half of the back of the card. This will make it easier to wrap around the watercolor set.
Using a Sharpie, write the details of the party inside the card. Start at the very top of the open card.
Wrap the card around a watercolor tray and secure with a piece of washi tape. The bright neon washi tape really stands out and looks amazing on the black and white cards.
Turn the watercolors over and add a white piece of paper that says “Let’s Color!” These can be handwritten, or you can type them in your favorite font on the computer and print them off. Use the neon washi tape to secure the paper onto the center of the card. Personally deliver one to each of your guests!
