Give a simple crafting cart a fun makeover to create this fabulous rolling DIY Summer Bar Cart. Adding a modern touch of color blocking, along with some bright masking tape and fun accessories, creates this eye-catching bar cart. It's the perfect place to keep beverages and snacks nearby while you are outdoors. It is amazing what you can do with a little color and imagination. Before putting the Emerald Green A La Cart Crafting Cart together spray paint each tray a different color. For this cart I used blue, yellow and pink to pair with the Happy Day party ware range.
Tip! Use yellow, red, orange and teal accents to complete the look.
Next, use masking tape to cover half of the connecting bars and spray paint with one color.
Once dry use masking tape to cover & protect the painted portion, then spray paint with another color.
Tip! Work out which pieces will connect with each cart first to determine which part is sprayed each color. I matched the connecting pipe to the tray color above and below.
Next, spray paint each set of connectors a different color i.e. blue, yellow and pink.
Next, add A La Cart Crafting Liners to the bottom of each tray.
Then, add Magnetic Storage Hooks to the sides of the top tray, one on each side.
Styling Tip! Hang a bar towel on one hook and a bottle or beer opener on the other hook.
Next put the cart together as per the enclosed instructions.
Then download the Free Bar Cart Printable Labels here for the "Rock The Bar" signs. Print on white card stock, cut and glue the labels to the bar cart.
Starting from the top (Rock), moving to the middle (The) and finishing at the bottom (Bar).
Next, spray paint the Rose Gold Geometric Sign Holder red. Add Happy Day Beverage Napkins and Happy Day Luncheon Napkins, then place on the top shelf of the bar cart along with a drink dispenser and Happy Day Paper Cups.
Next, add a strip of red & pink Colored Masking Tape to the two A La Cart Small Crafting Cups.
Hook the cups onto the top and middle trays and fill with fun Yay Silly Plastic Straws or Bulk Striped Paper Straws.
Then add beverages to the middle cart.
Next, add varied paired combinations of Colored Masking Tape to Plastic Clear Stemless Wine Glasses. Place glasses on the bottom level with the tent card from the Happy Day Decorating Kit.
Optional: Cut out the Hooray design and place in a brightly painted table frame.
Now it's time to roll the cart out to be enjoyed for summer fun!
Tip! Depending on the beverage dispenser you have, you may have to add a riser to the top tray to get it to the correct height for easy pouring.
Also consider adding stripes of masking tape to your dispenser, these can be easily removed.
