There is nothing quite like being able to create gorgeous Wreaths for your home. The thing I love most about DIY-ing your home decor is that you can use colors, patterns and materials that speak to you and your home! Today I am sharing how to make your very own DIY Colorful Twig Wreath. The beauty of this project is you can customize so much of it, from the colors of yarn to the type of faux flowers that you like the very best.
The first step is to create the twig form for your wreath. Using a hot glue gun, create square shapes with the twigs. For larger wreaths, use two twigs per side and for smaller wreaths, use only one twig per side.
Cut a section of colorful yarn a few feet in length and hot glue the end to a corner of your wreath. Slowly start to wrap the yarn around the twigs. It adds more interest when you switch colors every so often!
Once your yarn is wrapped, it is time to add the floral elements to your wreath. I started by adding some faux greenery and ivy. Once those were secured with hot glue, I attached a Plumeria flower. Then I tucked a few Jute Twine Tassels here and there, securing with glue.
Your colorful wreaths are now completed and ready to hang on the wall!
