Download the DIY Cotton Plant String Art Sign printable here and loosely cut out around the jar. Washi Tape the template onto a DIY Stained Wood Offset Plank Sign. Hammer small nails into the wood using the dots on the template as a guide, making sure that the nail go in straight and are in the wood at the same depth. Remove the paper template from under the nails, basically just rip it away.
Tie a knot around the first nail using embroidery floss. Start wrapping the floss around nails using the template as a guide. Once all of the nails are wrapped, tie the floss around the last nail.
Use wire cutters to cut sections of the Cotton Plant Garland. Arrange the cut cotton garland onto the plank sign and use hot glue to glue into place.
Cut a tag shape from cardstock. Handletter your saying onto the tag. You can also print the word onto cardstock and cut out the tag shape if you don’t feel comfortable handlettering it yourself. Tie the tag to the cotton plant with Natural Jute Twine and use hot glue to glue the tag in place.
