Surprise your child's teacher with an extra special gift at the start of the school year! This DIY classroom wreath is simple to make with colorful school supplies such as pencils, crayons, and a mini chalkboard arranged in a pretty sunburst pattern. Teachers love a unique wreath to hang on their classroom door and this one makes a big statement. You can even personalize the pencils with the teacher's name for an added touch. Be sure to also check-out the video on how to make this wreath.

Add a pencil to each of the four sides of the wreath with a bead of hot glue along the bottom of the pencil. The pencils should be at right angles to each other. These pencils can be customized with the teacher's name for a special touch!

Now add another pencil in the middle of each of the four pencils. Continue adding pencils in this manner until you have added 32 pencils around the wreath. The pencils come in a pack of 76 so you will have plenty extra to give the teacher to use in her classroom!

Beginning at the bottom right side of the wreath, add a crayon to the space between each pencil with hot glue. I added my crayons in rainbow order, eliminating the black and brown from these packs of crayons.
