Download and print the Spooky Halloween Banner Template. To transfer the template onto the DIY Black Canvas Banner, rub the back of the template with White Chalk and loosely cut out the letters. Download the Free Spooky Halloween Banner Template here!
Place the chalked template onto the DIY Black Canvas Banner and trace over the image with a ballpoint pen or pencil. Remove the template and repeat his process for the remainder of the chalked templates.
Use a flat-bristled paint brush and acrylic paint to paint the traced letters and allow time for the paint to dry.
Paint the ghost shape from the DIY Unfinished Wood Halloween Shapes with acrylic paint and allow time for the paint to dry. Use a fine point marker to draw on the details on the ghost. Use hot glue to adhere the painted wood ghosts to the black canvas banner. Glue orange and Light Pink Yarn Pom Poms to the tips of the black canvas banner as well.
Arrange the black canvas banners into the word “SPOOKY” using the painted wood ghosts as the O’s. Apply a line of hot glue to the back of the banner and glue the banners to a length of Black Baker’s Twine.
