I’m a huge fan of wedding centerpieces that aren’t focused on flowers and I love decor that adds a little something extra to the ambiance, especially lighting. So embellishing these Tabletop Light-up Lanterns as centerpieces got me super excited! All you need is your favorite ribbon to transform these light-up beauties into the perfect centerpiece for your unique event. Add a few fern leaves, hydrangea petals and tea lights… and you’re golden!
Spray paint the silver wire bar that holds the Tabletop Light-up Lanterns together, a matte white. This will camouflage that little silver bar from sight.
Cut and wrap ribbon around both the top of each lantern. I did two rounds because this copper ribbon is shear.
Adhere to the lantern using Mini Clear Glue Dots or your favorite adhesive.
Repeat Step 2 for the bottom of each lantern.
You can choose to display the lanterns lit up or not lit up, depending on your venue and display.
They are darling both ways – which is perfect!
These embellished lanterns are a great way to add color and height to any party table!
