Do you have little to no entryway, but want to spruce up what you have? This easy, fun small entryway wall décor will take that dull, little space and take it to a place you will love to come home to! Paint a DIY flower box in your favorite color and hang it sideways on the wall to make an entryway shelf to display some fun textured items like a cotton wreath, moss covered spheres and a gold calligraphy love sign.
Choose your paint color and pour it onto a paint tray or paper plate. I chose this Crayola Washable Paint in white.
Using your foam brush, paint the outside of the DIY Flower Box Centerpiece.
I really love the wood grain of the flower box, so I only did the one coat to keep a whitewashed look.
Because you will see the inside when you hang it as a shelf, next you will need to paint the inside.
The bottom of the box doesn't have that wood grain, so I gave it a couple coats of paint. Once the whole box is painted, let dry.
Attach the anchors to the wall, mark where the screws need to go on the inside of the box and attach to the wall. I suggest placing it at eye level on your wall.
Put the moss balls in the shelf, spaced out evenly.
Place the cotton plant wreath on the shelf. In front of the wreath, place the gold calligraphy love sign. Personalize the space with a framed photo or quote.
Hang hooks below the shelf to hang your purse, scarves, keys etc... Place a basket for shoes or blankets on the ground to gather items.
These cute decor items can stay up all year long, or you can change them out with the seasons!
