Cut patterned paper and mini photos into 1 1/2 in. squares.
Using Mod Podge, glue the patterned squares to one side of the wooden squares.
Using Mod Podge, glue the mini photos to the other side of the wooden squares.
Paint a thin coat of Mod Podge over the picture and patterned paper to create a seal. Let one side dry and do the other. Allow to dry completely.
Add patterned paper to a black cardboard box, and decorate with family photos and ribbon.
