Receiving Christmas cards from my friends and family is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season, but I hate having them all piled in a corner. Instead, I created this festive farmhouse Christmas card holder that not only beautifully displays all of my holiday cards, but also doubles as a piece of Christmas décor for my gallery wall!
Use a foam brush and acrylic paint, to paint the Small Triangle Pennant Burlap Garland making sure to protect your work surface with scrap paper. Allow time for the paint to dry.
Find the letters for the word ‘CARDS’ from the Alphabet & Number Sponges. Place a small amount of white acrylic paint onto a disposable paper plate and pounce the sponges in the paint. Once the sponge is covered, stamp the letters onto the painted pennant burlap garland. Allow time for the paint to dry.
At this point, you can either stain or paint the Large DIY Unfinished Wood Frame with Wire. I chose a gray stain with a white acrylic paint wash to really play up the farmhouse vibe.
Once the paint or stain is dry, thread the twine through the holes in the pennants and hot glue the banner onto the Large DIY Unfinished Wood Frame with Wire. Use Mini Clothespins to clip your holiday cards onto the wire frame.
Now that your card holder is complete, clip on all of the beautiful cards from your friends and family and display them proudly with your Christmas gallery wall!
