Create a casual and cozy floral arrangement and vase with our DIY Decor idea! A quick coat of paint, pretty plaid ribbon, a few wooden wedding shapes and some winter greenery will transform a simple hurricane vase into a flannel-inspired piece of decor that will have all your guests going mad for plaid!
Add a coat of Black Chalkboard Paint to a Clear Glass Hurricane Vase and allow to dry. Once dry, use a dry Paintbrush to add a few strokes of White Acrylic Paint for a distressed look. Allow to dry.
Measure and cut a piece of Vickerman Plaid Ribbon and attach it around the center of the Vase .
Cut a piece of Ivory Ribbon and tie it in a bow over top of the Vickerman Plaid Ribbon.
Add touches of White Acrylic Paint to Pine Clippings for a "snowy" look.
Fill the vase with the painted pine clippings and Snowy Pine Picks.
Add in 1 or 2 Frosted Pine Cones and a few fresh red rose stems.
Add a coat of White Acrylic Paint to 2 DIY Unfinished Wood Diamond Ring Shapes then add a few strokes of Gray Paint for a distressed look.
Paint a Mr. & Mrs. DIY Unfinished Wood Shape with Black Chalkboard Paint and allow to dry. Once dry, attach all three painted wood shapes to Bamboo Skewers.
Place the Skewers into your wintry floral arrangement.
