Balloon garlands are a popular new trend popping up everywhere, from weddings to birthday parties! This contemporary new trend was a perfect fit for our recent Modern Mint, Pink and Gold Bridal Shower and we loved creating them ourselves with a fun tassel and fresh floral twist! With only a few minutes you can easily create this new trend yourself at home with some chic supplies!
Start creating your DIY Floral Balloon Party Tassels by gathering up the Mint Green Tassel Garlands and layering one over the other, securing them together with Gold Glitter Washi Tape.
Next, start inflating the Light Pink Latex Balloons to about 5 inches in diameter for small pop of pink color. Now that you have inflated the balloons, begin to adhere them to the Mint Green Tassel Garland with another bead of hot glue. Be sure to only add glue to the tied off section of the balloons, or they will burst!
While you are waiting for the hot glue to dry, begin to layer in the Mini Gold Hanging Paper Lanterns, securing them to the clear section of the Mint Green Tassel Garland with a dot of hot glue.
To add in a soft and romantic detail, mix in some of your favorite flowers. Place them throughout the garland for a feminine and dainty addition. Depending on your flower of choice, you may want to secure the flowers to the garland with some hot glue, but if you opt for a lighter weight flower, such as baby’s breath, you can simply add the stem in where you like.
Lastly, display your gorgeous new creation on a bar car, above a dessert buffet or along a tablescape for a contemporary and trendy piece of party decor!
