Help kids memorize Galatians 5:22-23 with this bright and cheerful DIY Fruit of the Spirit Memory game that's incredibly easy to put together. Begin by downloading the Free Fruit of the Spirit Matching Game Cards here and print two copies of the Fruit of the Spirit Cards Printable on white cardstock. Use scissors to cut out each card.
Remove nine matching sets of fruit from the sheets of self-adhesive fruit shapes. Remove the backing from the self-adhesive fruit shapes and attach them to the two Love cards. Repeat with the other eight Fruit of the Spirit until all of the cards have self-adhesive fruit shapes attached to them.
Use scissors (or a paper cutter) to cut cardstock in the color of your choice into 3.75 inch by 3.75 inch squares. You will need 18 squares total.
Pair up the matches to make sure you have two of each Fruit of the Spirit and set aside while you decorate the storage pouch.
Use a glue gun to attach tinsel pom poms to the bottom of the white linen drawstring bag.
Place the Fruit of the Spirit matching cards inside the festive drawstring bag for easy storage. When you're ready to play the game simply mix up the cards and lay them in rows face down. Take turns turning over two cards at a time. If they match, keep them. If they don't match turn them back over. Continue taking turns with other players until all the cards have been matched. At the end you can practice saying Galatians 5:22-23 together.
