All it takes is a little imagination and some tape to transform colorful paint chip circles into the perfect DIY giant rainbow party backdrop. Although it may look complicated, you can create your own giant paint chip rainbow in just a few hours. Then use it behind your dessert table to for a show stopping rainbow party.
Starting with the outer pink or red row, begin by laying out your paint chip circles into two rows overlapping the circles as you go to create a 6' wide arch. You will want to make sure you have a large work space to work on so that you can layout the entire 6' wide rainbow in one piece.
Continue to layout the colored circles working your way in towards the middle of the rainbow. Each color should have two rows to form the rainbow.
Once all your paint chip circles are laid out, tape over the circles on the side facing up to secure them to each other.
Be sure to adjust the rainbow as needed to get a good arch and then finish taping all of the paint chip circles into place. Once complete, use thumb tacks or wall mounting strips to attach the rainbow to the wall behind your dessert table or as a photo booth backdrop.
