Turn the DIY Stained Wood Signs upside down. Next, line one stained wood sign up directly beneath the other to create one large sign. Make sure the horizontal slat lines on both signs match up. Place wood glue on the top edge of each sign and secure in place. Use a heavy duty staple gun to secure the two signs together. Let the glue dry for at least 24 hours before using.

Paint the sign with colorful acrylic paint or spray paint.

Paint or use vinyl to add the saying "Nacho Average Grad" to the top of the sign. I used my Cricut and colorful vinyl to create the saying.

Wrap the natural jute cording in a criss-cross pattern around the sign then secure the ends to the back with hot glue.

Add mini clothespins and colorful tassel charms to the jute cording. I used the llamas from the Boho Pom-Pom picks to make some extra fun clothespins. Here's a tip: to get the tassel charms to stay in place, use clear fishing line to tie them to the cording.
