Begin by painting a DIY Wood Crate a deep blue color. Only paint the box itself, not the lid as it will not be used. We used the smaller size of the two crates, but feel free to use the larger if it better suits your needs.

Next, trim eight white balloon sticks to hang just slightly over each end of the width of the wooden crate. Trim two of the sticks to the exact length of the crate on the long end. Take the sticks outside to a well-ventilated area and spray paint them silver.

Once the paint on the crate has dried, wrap yellow baker's twine around the center portion of the crate to provide a pop of color. Apply a dab of hot glue at the start and end of the baker's twine to secure it to the box.

Download and print the free grill labels onto white cardstock and then use a 2.5" circle punch to cut them out. Attach one label to the front of the crate using hot glue. Note: the grill labels are cute as cupcake toppers as well!

Next, add black Faith Stones to mimic the look of charcoal.

Now create the grill grate by first lining the smaller sticks across the width of the crate and then add the longer sticks across the front and back sides of the crate. Use a dab of hot glue under each stick to adhere them to the crate.
