Enter this haunted bayou dock if you dare! Wood pallets and cleverly used offset wood plank signs are paired with wood paper covered boxes to create dock posts, topped off with realistic skeleton heads, swamp sludge and moss.
Wrap two equally sized tall cardboard boxes with fadeless weathered wood look paper.
Add a generous amount of spray foam to the top of the post as shown.
Carefully pull down a length of creepy cloth over the spray foam while it is still wet.
Press down a skeleton head, from a bag of skulls, into the spray foam while still wet. You can add a little around the skull, this will dry and offer greater stablity. Repeat these steps with the second post, and allow to dry overnight.
When the spray foam is dry, use a chubby paintbrush to add green, black and brown paint to create the look of swamp sludge. You can also add in some moss with hot glue.
Wrap the posts with a bit of natural cord to simulate the look of real boat dock posts, then arrange outside in a Haunted Bayou yard scene with offset wood plank signs as the "dock" walkway, arranged atop a brown tarp to resemble swamp water.
