This year I'm adding these DIY terrariums to our Halloween decor. Featuring mini Halloween characters and lots of candy, they would be the perfect addition to a mantel, entryway, or used as a table centerpiece. This set of three glass jars is so versatile, making it fun to switch up their contents throughout the year. In addition to these simple Halloween terrariums, don't miss the Easter terrariums and succulent sand art terrariums I also made with these jars!
Fill each glass jar about halfway with candy. You can use a single candy or create layers of different candies. I used candy corn and white chocolate candies to fill my jars.
Add in a character or two by positioning them in the candy. These bendable characters are perfect because you can easily bend their arms and legs, and even have them sitting if you want!
Add additional candy or small pumpkins as desired to finish styling the terrariums. I used these striped candy balls to cover the bottom of these ghost pop-up characters and to help provide additional support so that they stood up straight.
You can add the jar lids back on, or keep them open like I did to really show off the Halloween scenes!
