Drink up, witches! Bubble bubble toil and trouble...mix up this drink and make it a double! Celebrate Halloween with your favorite ghoul gang by creating this chic and spooky Halloween drink tray with coordinating stemware and bewitchingly creepy stir sticks! The best part is, this fabulous DIY includes a deliciously evil drink recipe! So grab your best ghoulfriends along with a couple of these spooktacular drinks and enjoy some cocktails at your Halloween soiree!
Start by spray painting a crystal cut pedestal dish with metallic gold spray paint and allow the paint to dry completely.
Next add a little bling to the gold foil dot serving tray by adhering gold, silver and black rhinestones to the rim and throughout the center of the tray. Be sure to leave open spaces for your stemware. Then, use spider webs to lightly wrap the decorated tray.
Now, using hot glue, adhere the tray to the painted pedestal dish.
Assemble the stemware and add some cascading rhinestones up the side of the glasses starting with larger rhinestones towards the base of the glasses and ending with smaller ones.
Add a bit of gore to your glasses by creating spooky straws and stir sticks. Simply hot glue a variety of rubber insects to gold foil paper straws.
Prefer a stir sticks? Spray paint your rubber insects in a metallic gold tone and adhere with hot glue to a plastic stir stick. Make sure to not get any spray paint on the stir sticks so they remain food safe.
Add your straw or stir sticks to your cocktail glass, then mix up a spooktacular spirit by combining 2 ounces of lemonade, 2 ounces of clear rum and a squeeze of fresh lime. Add a small dash of activated charcoal for the creepy color.
Serve up this creepy cocktail on your DIY tray with coordinating glassware and enjoy with your closest ghoulfriends!
