AAAAA! Shake, shake, shake! Noisemakers, friend or foe? My kids would argue friend! They love making music and these easy DIY Halloween noisemakers are the perfect jack-o’-lantern craft. This simple Halloween craft engages your child in visual and performing arts, combining their artistic side with musicality.
Begin by painting the white backside of two paper plates. Allow to dry.
First, fill one side of the plate with beans or rice, and then place the second plate on top and staple the perimeter of the plate together. Place hot glue on your craft stick and squeeze in between the two plates. Press and hold until stick remains in place.
Decorate the noisemaker with the foam pumpkin decorating craft kits. Add some black ribbon or rick rack to the plate. If you used a plain wood craft stick, you can wrap it in the Halloween washi tape to add some fun colors and patterns.
Now you’re ready to shake, shake, shake, and make some noise while you head door to door trick-or-treating!
