Jewelry crafts are always a win with pre-schoolers. Not only do they get to make something, but they get to wear their masterpieces and take them home. These DIY Harvest Beaded necklaces were particularly perfect for a group of 4-year-olds. The activity held their attention and the necklaces were simple to put together.
Before the kids arrived, I pre-cut the leather cording into necklace-sized strips. I also sectioned off the same variety of beads for each child, then put all the supplies into individual baggies.
When each child came in, I had them grab a baggie and take a seat at the table. They got right to work putting their necklaces together.
Once each child had completed their necklace, I went around and tied them around their necks. They were thrilled with their creations!
