Add height and a slightly creepy statement to your Halloween dinner party with this DIY Haunted Candlestick Centerpiece. With just 5 simple steps this DIY project is easy yet makes a bit impact to any Halloween table or mantel.
Use the white candle holder set and spray paint each candle holder black.
Cut pieces of the moss table runner into strips, wrap it around the candlestick base and hot glue it in place as you go. Next, use the green moss and fill in the blank spots around the moss table runner. Be sure to leave some parts of the black candlestick base showing. Use a mix of both types of the moss for texture and color.
Next, give the flameless battery operated candles a makeover by placing a piece of the black creepy cloth over the candle. Once you have it drapped over the candle you can hot glue it into place and cut out the opening at the top of the candle so the flame can flicker.
Add spider webs and spiders to the candlestick base.
Place the DIY haunted candlesticks on an unfinished wood slice, draped with a piece of creepy cloth. Add a gothic pumpkin and the gothic skull vase to complete this haunted centerpiece.
