Say hello to fall with this sweet wood sign you can make yourself! The precut wreath outline in this DIY wood sign makes it easy to decorate with modern fall paint colors and patterned alphabet stickers. The 9" sign is the perfect petite size to prop on a bookshelf or mantel with other fall accents. Why stop at just one sign? The pack of letter stickers comes with enough letters for you to make both a "Hello Fall" and "Give Thanks" sign!
Paint the front of a 9" DIY unfinished wood wreath sign with ivory acrylic craft paintand a foam brush. Let dry.
Use a very small paintbrush and brown acrylic craft paint to paint in the outline of the wreath.
Color in the leaves on the wreath using a small paint brush. I chose a set of four modern fall colors that coordinated with the colors in these alphabet stickers - a light blue, navy blue, pumpkin orange, and coral pink. This set of acrylic craft paints has similar colors. If you accidentally paint outside the lines of the wreath, don't worry! Just wait until the paint is dry and touch up with a small brush and a little ivory paint.
Finish your sign by spelling "Hello Fall" with these colorful alphabet stickers. To have enough "L" stickers, I cut off one side of two "T" stickers. They will look just like an "L"! The pack of stickers has enough letters to spell "Give Thanks" if you want to make a second coordinating sign.
Prop your pretty new Hello Fall sign on a shelf along with some other cozy fall decor such as a rose gold votive and gold dipped pumpkin.
