First, snip small cuts at the edge of a Light Pink Bandana and tear (for a textured edge) to get two 1 1/2" - 2" strips. Use hot glue to secure the strips of the bandana around the center of the smallest Shiplap Buffet Riser. Overlap the strips where they join to create a seamless look. If using one of the larger risers in the set you may need additional bandana strips to reach around the entire riser.

Next, use Mod Podge® to glue a Truly Scrumptious Doily to a DIY Unfinished Wood Horseshoe. Cut off any excess doily and use to complete the decoupage of the horseshoe. Remove a single bloom from a Pink Hydrangea Mat and glue onto the horseshoe as a sweet accent.

Measure a piece of cord or jute to stretch the full diameter of your cake with an additional length at each end so you can tie the cord to straw supports. Fold the strips of bandana in half (U-shape) behind a piece of cord. Take the two ends over the cord and pull them through the bottom loop to make a cow hitch knot (as shown) onto the cord. Repeat with lace and alternate fabric across the cord. Don't cover the ends of the cord as you'll need to tie the banner onto straws.

Glue a hydrangea bloom over each knot. Next, glue a Horse onto the bottom of each straw. Leave excess straw under the horses' legs so you can still push the straws into the cake.
