Add 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda and 1/4 cup of water and stir. (I just fill the empty bottle of glue half way with water and shake it to get all of the glue out.)

Add food coloring (I only used one small drop to get these pastel colors) and glitter. Then, stir again.

Add 2 teaspoons of saline solution and mix thoroughly. Start kneading together the slime with your hands when it starts to gloop up. You will probably need to add more contact solution, but do it slowly. After kneading the slime it will harden more quickly and if you add too much saline solution the slime will be more of a ball instead of slime.

Make lots of different colors. To make iridescent slime I made white, blue, and pink, and I added lots of extra glitter. Combine the three colors without overly mixing them. Eventually they will turn into a beautifuly sparkly purple slime. Finish by adding the iridescent gems to the slime.
