I recently designed a Dream Sleepover Party for my daughter’s 9th birthday and was looking for a party favor that could double as a party activity and match the party’s theme. This DIY journal was it! Since Riley’s sleepover had a smaller guest count, I decided to splurge a little and make all the girls their own DIY Dream Journal. Want to see how to make it? Draw a 6.5″ cloud shape out of a white Foam Sheet. Cut it out with scissors.
Remove the adhesive backing and place the cloud on the front cover of the Color Me Doodle Journal.
Embellish the edge of the cloud with Green Adhesive Jewels.
Using the Adhesive Letters, attach the word DREAM in the middle of the foam cloud. TIP: The package of Adhesive Letters & Numbers comes with 7 sheets in 7 different colors. Each sheet has enough letters to spell the word DREAM two times. So, one pack will make 14 journals.
Using a thin Sharpie marker, add a few doodles to the cloud.
That’s it! You have a super easy and a fun party favor your guests will love.
