You took so much time to get your bar cart vignette styled just right, so why muddle the finished look with a bunch of mismatched wine bottles?! Below, we'll teach you how to create custom wine labels to loop over coordinating, non-breakable decanters. This way, your bar area will look clean and put together, and you and your guests won't have a problem spotting your preferred pitcher of bubbly! Tutorial and printable labels below.
Download our printable wine label sheet and stencil, then cut out each one along the outlines using scissors.
Choose a few sheets of coordinated scrapbook paper, and flip each one over onto a flat surface. Lay the stencil you cut out in Step 1 in one corner of the paper. Trace the stencil onto the paper using a pencil. Repeat for as many labels as you need.
Glue the cut wine labels onto the fronts of your cut scrapbook paper tags. Leave a little bit of extra room off to one side for the twine attachment.
Allow the tags to dry for 1 hour before handling. Punch holes into the extra room left to one side of the tag, and loop twine (cut to about 12 inches in length) through the holes.
Wrap the twine and finished tags around the necks of plastic wine decanters. Tie the twine in simple bows at the ends.
Set the labeled decanters up in your styled bar cart vignette, and fill them with your favorite varieties of wine come party time!
