Create easy and beautiful artwork for your summer-inspired farmhouse mantel with fresh sliced lemons and paint. This cute project won't take along at all and it adds such a great pop of color! I just love how the yellow bounces off the bright blue of the paint, it works seamlessly in your mantel decor.
Start by painting the large DIY Unfinished Wood Frame with aqua acrylic paint.
With a knife, slice a medium-sized fresh lemon in half. Pour yellow acrylic paint on a plate and dip the lemon in the paint.
Dab the painted lemon onto a paper towel and then firmly press it onto a piece of white cardstock trimmed to fit inside the wood frame.
Continue stamping the lemon slices around the paper in a random pattern to create a colorful piece of art.
