Start this project out by printing off the Llama body and head template. Cut out the body template and trace it onto your wooden block. Download the Free Llama Template Printable here!

Next, fill in your Llama body with bright acrylic paints. I love using this tropical assortment of paint and keeping everything tidy in a paint palette is always helpful for me. Go ahead and paint all four sides of your wooden block.

Next, cut out your Llama head from the template. Be sure to cut out both the color foam neck and the white foam head and ears. Trace your templates onto your favorite color of foam and cut away!

Warm up your hot glue gun and add a small amount of glue to the white pieces (Llama head and ears) and then put your colorful foam on top of them.

Once your Llama head is all assembled, you can add a small line of hot glue to your wooden bank block and adhere the head to the "body". You can also add a small/medium pom pom as the tail.

Next, cut out a small half circle of foam for your Llama's saddle and hot glue that to your Llama's body.

Paint the same color from the saddle across the piggy bank area. Next, take a contrasting color chenille stem and wrap it around for extra embellishment. I just made a line of hot glue around the saddle to secure.

The final step is adding some mini pom poms to the saddle because we all need pom poms on Llamas!

Create a little colorful outdoor setting for your new Llama Piggy bank with no mess grass, fan burst garlands and some cute bendable little llama friends!
