We are heading into spring soon and you know what that means. Lots of spring weddings! I’m sharing a DIY Love Birds Bridal Wreath that you can make to add a bit of sparkle to your rustic glam wedding or bridal shower decorations. You could also have your flower girl carry it around her wrist as she heads down the aisle. How cute would that be!
Wrap the wreath with the White Chevron Burlap until fully covered. You will need 2 1/2 rolls of the burlap to fully cover the wreath. Secure the end with hot glue.
Cut the strings off of each of the Love Birds Chair Decorations. Place the Clear Round Adhesive Jewels all the way around the edge of both of the love birds. Then attach them with hot glue to the bottom center of the wreath.
Hot glue the 1/2″ round Clear Shaped Adhesive Jewels around the inside perimeter of the wreath. You will need approximately 25-27 jewels, so get two sets of the Clear Shaped Adhesive Jewels to have enough of the round shape. Do not secure the two top center jewels until you’ve attached the wreath hanger.
Wrap a piece of the White Chevron Burlap around the top center of the wreath to the desired length. Cut the excess. Secure the front and back of the burlap to the front and back side of the wreath with hot glue. Attach the final two top center jewels to the wreath with hot glue.
Squeeze hot glue on the top of the wreath and secure both pieces of burlap to the top of the wreath by pressing both pieces of burlap together.
Overlap one edge of the top ends of the burlap and secure with hot glue to make a loop.
Now you’re ready to display your finished wreath. You can hang it from a tabletop shepherd’s hook or you can hang is directly on your wall using a 3M Command hook.
PARTY DESIGN TIP: Display the finished wreath on a rustic glam bridal shower bar cart to welcome guests to the shower. Simply hang the wreath on the wall above the bar cart then mix rustic decorations like these Wood Centerpiece Slabs and White Bird Cage in with sparkly crystal decorations and a glam white and gold pillow to create the rustic glam feel.
