Nothings says Christmas like glitter! I love using glitter to jazz up my Christmas decor and this DIY Merry and Bright Glitter Sign does just that! With just a few supplies and the free printable, you can create this sparkly DIY sign. Be sure to download the Free Merry and Bright Printable here!
Use a ruler and washi tape off some lines on a 12x12 canvas. We made our stripes 2” but you can make as few or as many stripes as you like by simply adjusting the stripe size.
Paint the stripes with a foam paint brush and acrylic paint.
While the painted stripes are drying, download, print and cut out the letter templates. Trace the letters on the back of the glitter paper making sure that the letters are backwards when they are traced. This will ensure that your letters will be the facing the right way. Remove the washi tape and hot glue the glitter letters to the canvas. Use a Sharpie® Fine Point Marker to write the word ‘and’ in between the glitter letters.
Place your newly crafted sign in your house where it can shine and sparkle. I placed mine on my mantel next to a mini silver Christmas tree with glittered ornaments to really make the sign pop.
