Keychains are the perfect fun accessory and small enough that you can switch it out any time you like and self adhesive rhinestones are the perfect touch!
These keychains come with a small white paper insert, which is perfect for this DIY! I removed the paper and drew out the letters and shapes I had planned for this project. This helped me keep my designs centered.
Next, insert the paper back into the keychain and begin to paint. I kept my colors all cheerful and bright. I love using paint palettes to keep everything tidy and contained, too.
Some of the keychains I went over with another coat of paint to ensure nice thick paint lines. Once the paint was completely dried, I added the self adhesive rhinestones. They come with three sheets of rhinestones. One is all silver, one is bright bold colors and one is more subtle colors. With my fun keychain all set, I filled my clutch with all the necessary warm weather essentials: nail polish, sunglasses, notebook, pencil and of course a few disco balls – ha!
