I made one DIY Monogrammed Pillow for each guest with their initial and sent it home with them for a cute keepsake. It also matched the theme of my daughter Riley’s Dream Sleepover Birthday Party. These would also make fabulous gifts and a great addition to your child’s room.
Decide on the colors for your pillow. I chose purple, pink, turquoise and mint green to match Riley’s party decorations and her room decor. Pick a medium-sized pillow. Oriental Trading has this Medium Purple Pillow in a variety of colors including yellow, green, red, and blue so you can match your pillow to your party theme.
Cut out your initial from a Felt Sheet and attach it to the front of the pillow with Hot Glue.
Using hot glue, trim the edge of your pillow with the Rickrack Trim all the way around the edge of your pillow. Cut the end when you get to each edge of the pillow and overlap the next piece to start a new line of trim.
Glue a giant Pom-Pom on each corner of the pillow. Press and hold the pom-pom to the pillow until it’s dry.
Embellish the felt initial with Green Adhesive Jewels.
