Dress up your front door with our spooky DIY Halloween wreath this Fall season! This monster Halloween craft will have "eyes" on all your arriving guests. Ella and Annie's DIY monster wreath is easy to make and will be a frightening addition to your Halloween decor.
Cut 15 – 17″ long strips of tulle. You will need approximately 67 strips of tulle, 33 purple and 34 lime green. (You may find you need to use a few more strips of tulle.)
Start by folding one of the strips in half to form an upside U. Place the strip under the wreath frame. Pull the ends of the strips over the frame and through the hole where the bottom of the U shape is formed. Pull tight until a knot forms.
Repeat step 2, alternating purple with lime green. As you move your way around the wreath frame push the tulle pieces together so that the wreath ends up nice and full.
Trim away any unwanted length off the tulle pieces to make a uniform shape.
Take a 8.5″ wide piece of white foam and cut triangles from one end to make teeth. Make two sets of teeth. Hot glue the teeth to the back of the wreath; one set on the top and one set on the bottom.
Hot glue googly eyes in a variety of sizes to the front of the wreath.
Use a black chenille stem to make a hook on the back of the wreath. Weave the stem through the tulle on the back of the wreath and twist it together to form a closed circle. Trim off any excess stem.
