Mom's heart will melt when she opens up this personalized DIY Popsicle Stick Photo Drame on Mother's Day. This darling Mother's Day craft is great for kids of all ages to make for mom, grandma, or any loved one. All you need is a few simple craft supplies and children will have this easy Mother's Day gift made in no time at all! This pop-up heart card is another fun project for kids to make for Mother's Day.
Begin by using a sponge paintbrush to paint four large wood craft sticks with tropical colored acrylic paint. Set them aside to dry completely.
After the acrylic paint has dried, use Tacky Glue to glue the four craft sticks into a square to make a frame. Allow the Tacky Glue to dry completely.
Cut out a square of white cardstock paper that is 5 1/2-inches by 5 1/2-inches to fit on the back of the craft stick picture frame. Add a generous amount of extra strength glue stick on the back of the wood craft sticks and glue the white square on the back of the photo frame.
Add glue on the back of a 4-inch by 4-inch photo of a child with their mom, grandma or loved one and glue the photo in the center of the photo frame.
Remove Mother's Day self-adhesive shapes from the pack and arrange them around the photo frame to create a design of your choice. When you are satisfied with your design, remove the backing from each of the self-adhesive shapes and adhere them to the craft stick photo frame.
For added fun, place a self-adhesive magnet on the back of the craft stick photo frame so it can be placed on the fridge for display.
Place your Mother's Day photo frame in a gift bag or wrap it in gift wrap for mom, grandma and loved ones to open on Mother's Day.
