It's hard for anyone to resist a delicious, sweet treat; especially one as cute as these nautical cupcakes! This simple and inexpensive DIY is the perfect way to add a sea-inspired touch to store-bought cupcakes and would complete the perfect place setting for your next nautical themed event!
Begin by printing and cutting the sail from the template. Place on your chosen cardstock, trace and cut.
Punch 2 holes on the vertical side of the sail shape.
Cut the wooden skewer down to approximately 5 inches and then secure through the holes. Add a drop of hot glue to the back of the Anchor Charm and adhere to front of the sail.
Cut the Birthday Sailor Mini Popcorn Box horizontally across approximately 3″ from the top.
Cut the Birthday Sailor Mini Popcorn Box at one of the 4 corner edges and then trim approximately 4-5 inches off. Form a circle shape with the box and hot glue the 2 open edges together. You should now have a smaller cupcake wrapper shape.
Next add the Silver Chocolate Candies into the Chevron Pail.
Place the cupcake topper into the cupcake and you now have a cute-as-can-be nautical inspired cupcake place setting!
Placing the cupcakes on Round Metallic Silver Dinner Plates and Red Dessert Plates with color coordinating napkins was the perfect way to showcase this chic nautical inspired treat!
