A charming, heart shaped wood wedding sign that bears the phrase, "Get Nauti", as a welcome to the dessert table at a Last Sail Before the Veil Bridal Shower. Crafted from acrylic paint, a heart shaped wood sign, and natural colored rope cord, the sign is embellished with a white finger starfish and small white sand dollars.
Paint the wood heart sign using your favorite shade of blue acrylic paint. You may wish to use two coats for a more opaque finish. Allow to dry.
Using a narrow paintbrush, carefully paint out the words, "get nauti" with white acrylic paint. Keep a light hand when completing this step, and don't worry if you mess up a little bit. The letters will be covered up in the next steps.
Using a hot glue gun with a fine point, carefully glue over the letters as though you are writing with the glue gun. Work in small sections, and apply natural cording over the writing, adhering in place.
Trim the edges of the sign with pink pom poms from your favorite source, then glue on a white finger starfish by adhering firmly with hot glue.
Finish by scattering natural sand dollars with hot glue to complete the look.
