Create a one of a kind garland for your fall decor with natural wood cut out leaves. Inspired by simple Scandinavian design, use white and gold paint to make a unique garland. Glue your modern hand-painted leaves on twine and hang in your home all season long. The white and gold paired with natural wood works with all types of seasonal decor. Try this garland with pops of color from pumpkins, pomegranates or pears!

After your second coat of paint has dried completely, you can remove your washi tape. Paint all of your leaves for your garland. We love to mix it up with the patterns of paint of the leaves. We painted some of our leaves solid white and then added a small section of gold. You can see that on many of our leaves, we left the unfinished wood visible. There's something so modern and beautiful with the wood exposed.

To string the wood leaves on the jute cording, place a strip of hot glue using your hot glue gun on the backside of the leaves. Let glue dry completely before hanging on your wall.

This garland works well hanging on the wall in your dining room. Just tape two sides on the wall. If you have a smaller space, it’s pretty to create a layered look by hanging multiple smaller garlands overlapping each other.
