Pour some white paint into a paper cup or plate and add a little pink paint. Stir to get a light pink color. Use a foam brush to paint the wood planked sign. Let dry then add another coat of paint if desired.
Once the paint is dry, use a pencil to add a small dot where you'd like your nails to be. I hung three drawstring bags in the top row and three bags in the bottom row and they fit perfectly! Use a hammer to attach the mini nails to the board. You might need to place a block of wood underneath each nail while hammering to give extra support.
To add a pumpkin to the front of each favor bag, download the free pumpkin printable. Print the pumpkin design onto the front side of a piece of Transfer Magic paper, making sure to mirror the image when printing. This means that the image is in reverse, which is crucial for the image to be facing the correct way once it's ironed on. Cut a square around each pumpkin with scissors.
Empty water from an iron. Heat up the iron to the cotton setting with NO steam. Iron each bag so that the bag is wrinkle-free on a hard, smooth surface. Place a pumpkin face side down onto the center of the bag. Place the iron over the top and iron with straight, non-stop motions from top to bottom and side to side for about 30 seconds.
Let the fabric cool completely, then carefully peel up the backing paper. Now you've got the cutest pumpkin design on your favor bag! Repeat for each bag.
