Creating pieces of personalized wood decor is a recent trend that we have been fully indulging in, so we decided to show you a quick and simple way for you to create your own! We customized our very own DIY Patisserie Tray for a Paris Inspired Bridal Shower we styled and love the rustic charm it brought to our dessert bar. Follow these few simple steps and learn how to make your own!
Begin by adding a coat of White Acrylic Paint to the largest tray from the DIY Scalloped Edge Tray Set. Allow to dry.
Give the tray a distressed, rustic look by brushing on a few strokes of Gray Acrylic Paint. Let dry.
Cut a piece of wax paper so it is the same size as a piece of computer paper (8 1/2 x 11") then load it into your printer. Print our free French Patisserie Printable onto the wax paper and then center it on the tray. Tape to hold in place. Use a credit card, or something similar to press and rub the ink from the wax paper onto the tray.
Remove the wax paper and check out your new rustic DIY tray!
