Summer is the time when families and friends join together for outdoor parties whether it's Memorial Day or the Fourth of July! Celebrate summer and give guests their own cupcakes with personalized toppers. Not only is this fun craft perfect for a patriotic themed party but you can change up the colors to match any summer theme. These "Red, White and Cool" cupcake toppers double as name cards for your party guests as well!
Line up three Wooden Craft Sticks and cut the tip of the middle stick to create a "u" shaped end.
Using the ice pop from the Patriotic Pop Beverage Napkins as a guide, trim the bottom of the craft sticks to make the ice pop shape.
Cut a piece of craft stick and adhere it to the back of the three sticks with hot glue.
Next, cut a Polka Dot Paper Straw in half and adhere it to the back of the ice pop with hot glue.
Next, apply blue paint to the bottom of the ice pop and apply red paint to the top. Once both colors have dried, apply white paint to the middle section creating an ombre effect.
Add guest names with a permanent marker.
Place toppers in your cupcakes and set them at each table setting!
